It’s October 1st in the USA right now, and as a result all those MVPs that are due for review and renewal have been sent their official email. I awoke this morning to find that yes indeed, despite my doubts, I’ve been awarded for another year as an MVP. My key contributions over the last 12 months have been via the many posts on my blog not just on Small Business Server, but also the SMB focused community at large. I hope that you’ve found the content worthy of more than a casual glance and hope to provide even more content over the coming months in the lead up to the release of Windows Server 2012 Essentials.
Below is an extract from the MVP email I received from Microsoft.
At Microsoft, we believe that technical communities enhance people’s lives and the industry’s success because independent experts, like you, help others extract greater value from products and technologies through the free and objective exchange of knowledge. As a Microsoft MVP, you are part of a highly select group of experts that represent technology’s best and brightest who share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others. On behalf of everyone at Microsoft, thank you for your contributions to technical communities.
For those that I interact with at Microsoft – thank you for this honour.
