I found out over the weekend that Microsoft have released the Windows Live Writer. Currently I use Word 2007 to do all my writing and publishing to this blog and it’s as easy as writing the content and pressing the Publish button instead of a Print button. Ok – so Live Writer has been released – you can get it here. What this means is that you no longer need to have the latest version of Office to easily publish a blog post to a Sharepoint blog.
Live Writer seems to have all the features of what I use in Word 2007. You can insert pictures, videos, tags and even maps directly into this without any real effort – very cool. What do you think the picture below is?
