One of the things that I think that big business fails to understand is that success in the small business market is based on relationships. Relationships are so very often the key in this space. What I see all the time though is that people fail to understand that. More specifically people that are in big business fail to realise how personal relationships can help weather storms that occur in any business relationship. Regardless of the size of business you are, when was the last time you picked up the phone and called someone you’ve not spoken to in a while? When was the last time you just said "Hi how’s things going – let’s grab a coffee…".
I do this from time to time with our clients and they love to hear from you. They like to know that the business relationship is just one aspect of things and that you in fact do care about their business. Sure – I hear those of you in big business say "I don’t have time for this… I’m too busy"… well – honestly – all I can say to you is that you need to make time. If you want your big business to feel like a small business to your clients then you need to make the effort. You need to make your clients feel appreciated.
Try it – you might be surprised at the result. What do you do to make your clients feel appreciated?
I do believe all the concepts you’ve introduced for
your post. They’re really convincing and will definitely work.
Nonetheless, the posts are too short for novices.
May just you please prolong them a little from next
time? Thank you for the post.
