Steve Jobs is dead.

Sad really – that he has finally lost his battle with the disease that has affected him for so long.  Apple announce this on their home page in the last few hours.  What will be remembered about him is how he took a company that was really fading badly and with the iPod and subsequent devices, reinvigorated not only his company, but the mindsets of many many people.  Many people in fact learned of his passing on their iPhones or iPads – that’s a little ironic don’t you think?
