I’m doing some work with my home cluster at the moment, and moving machines back onto it after I rebuilt it to use SMB3 only. When I attempt to move the VMs using SCVMM 2012 R2, I get the message “The specified path is not a valid folder path…”
This only happens if I check the option to “Make this VM Highly Available”. If I leave that option disabled, then it works fine.
Ok – so after some digging, I found that this is a known issue, and you need to install a hot fix from KB3039296
