Microsoft today announced on their blog that they have released the Release Candidate build of SBS 2011 Essentials. What this means is that this build is so close to the final product that they are looking for any last minute bugs and issues that people may see. This build does not include the Drive Extender technology that they pulled from the product before Christmas. It does of course contain the Client Backup technology which is oh so good 
Get a hold of this build and start playing with it now.

Any reason the RC1 (or any SBS 2011) doesn’t show in my technet account? Is this by chance for Americans only (I’m in Australia)?
There’s no where to join/register for the trial/rc1.
The Beta is only available from the connect.microsoft.com site.
