I’ve just finished writing the patch management chapter of my book on SBS 2008 and thought I would share this screenshot with you. This comes from the new reporting in SBS 2008 and I’ve configured it to send me a daily email with just the updates status of my network. This image shows a fully patched SBS 2008 network. I love the level of detail that they give in this now and it’s something that will make it easier for the smaller SBS IT Pro’s to show the boss that they are indeed ensuring that their clients networks are up to date.
