I love it when I’m on the bleeding edge of things. I saw a news article today that talked about how hackers were using things like MSN or the use of MSN to gain user credentials and password information. I actually reported back here about how a friend of mine experienced this already. To me – this highlights the main issue of the users being the most critical piece of the “problem” in terms of potential security breach. The users more so than the operating system or the applications are the bigger issue here I believe, predominantly due to human nature than anything else. People WANT to know things like who is blocking them and so on and therefore this type of scam drives right at the very heart of our psyche.
Don’t be a victim. Be aware.
