I recieved an email from a friend tonight which you can see below. The email was very out of character for her so I pinged her on MSN. I suspected that she had fallen foul of one of the scam emails and it turns out I was right.
If you click on the link, it takes you to a website which supposedly tells you which of your friends has blocked you or not. The site looks nice as you can see below, but you need to enter your MSN or Yahoo account details and password. I believe this to be a scam the website redirects to a URL that is different from that displayed on screen. Be careful – if you have had this then change your password and run an AV scan over your computer.
Thanks for the heads up
i got this sent to me but i knew it was a scam
Regards
yeah my sis got an email like that and she clicked it and got hacked but she changed her password but i got an email and so did all her contacts and have these people been banned the people running the site?
it may be easy to fall for this scam but with 30 seconds of inspection you notice that when u click on the terms and conditions nothing happens and the language bar is fake as well. So if you still might think this site is legitimate DON’T ENTER YOUR ACCOUNT INFO. people who have have had their accounts hacked and have other people sending emails through it.
Have you eer thought about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what yyou say iss valuable and all. Nevertheless think about if you added somme great images or videos to give your poists more,
“pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this website could definitely be one
of the very beest in its niche. Fantastic blog!
